The central government has announced relaxation of some areas in the new lockdown from April 20 through the Ministry of Home Affairs. This means that more sectors and workers will be allowed to work. Earlier this week, the Home Ministry issued revised guidelines as per section 144, allowing several commercial and private establishments to resume operations from April 20. These establishments may be allowed to operate strictly following physical distance. This includes print and electronic media, DTH services, IT services, government data and call centers, e- commerce companies and their entire supply chain (after obtaining necessary permission). On the instructions of the Home Ministry, people have given different responses. Local circles have conducted a survey on how the state governments should adopt and implement these instructions. 16 thousand people have participated in the survey in the country. In the first survey conducted by Local Circles in the third week of lockdown, 79% of the citizens were in favor of stringent restrictions from April 15 to stop the spread of coronavirus. It is worth noting that in the districts where no case of Covid-19 has been reported even after 21 days, the state governments can allow commercial and private establishments to function as per the guidelines of the Ministry of Home Affairs. It was asked in the survey that after 31 March how the state governments should implement it in districts with one or more cases. 41% were of the opinion that they are in favor of all goods through the guidelines, and do not support the exit of the people. 29% want a ban in favor of the supply of goods and the exit of people from all areas except essential services. 27% said that people from all areas should remain in lockdown in favor of only essential goods and except essential services. by(DISCOVER TV) |
