Ile-Ife Ile-Ife village an ancient yoruba city in southwestern Nigeria,located in the present-day(osun state) that turned into the first powerful yoruba kingdom. It is regarded as the cultural and spiritual homeland of the yoruba nation. Ile-Ife village is so busy as people roam about. In Ile-Ife,magic and sorcery are not welcomed.The law is that any sorcery caught will be burn alive. The hut of a farmer name Abiodun can be seen.Abiodun is a hardworking farmer with two wives, Adepeju and Adunni. Adepeju the first wife have two children,Bayo and Ajoke,but the second wife have being barren for two years in marriage. Villagers mock her,even Adepeju insult of being a barren. Adunni will cry daily for that.Many people have persuade Abiodun to send Adunni away but Abiodun will not. Adunni brought some food for Abiodun to eat after returning from the farm. What is the meaning nf this woman? Abiodun voice out in fury. I will not sit and watch this barren poison you! Adepeju speaks. ......How did you know the food is poisoned? Abiodun ask. I don't know,but I won't let this wretch serve you, I will!!! Adepeju roar. Adunni stand still while weeping softly.Abiodun see this as he stand up to console her but Adunni walk out in pain. Adepeju stand upright while staring at Abiodun with a discerning look.Abiodun turn toward Adepeju. You're so wicked Adepeju! Abiodun insult. So it has gotten to the limit that you have to insult me because of that barren thing- Abiodun interrupt Don't dare say such again Peju!!! I wonder why I get married to such a useless woman!
